asdfghjkl

I didn't know what to write about, so I stole Emily's idea and wrote about my break...
Thanksgiving break was amazing. I can't even believe it's over. Nothing but a week of serenity, chilling at my dad’s house (my old house) in Long Island, playing Xbox and hanging out with my family.
The week was set off to a rough start though. My way back home was with my brother who’s a senior here. Instead of most of my friends and the rest of campus who left Friday, because of him I had to wait till late Saturday to embark on hour 5-hour drive to Chesapeake. It sucked. I was the ONLY person who hadn’t left yet in my dorm. Even most of my pledge brothers had left. Friday night I ended up hanging out with the only two who hadn’t, my pledge brothers Marcus and Ryan. So seeing how we were all bored out of our minds, we ended up just chilling at Ryan’s apartment for most of the night, drinking cold beverages and playing Halo 4. This was the first time I’ve played Halo 4, and if you’re a fan of the previous Halo games then you would know how awesome Halo is. But this Halo was awesomer than most Halo’s; the best one they’ve made in my opinion. It was actually made by a different company than the companies that made the last ones. So there were a few differences, but they were all great. But anyways.. So after a while we all ended up going to my brothers girlfriends house so Ryan and Marcus can set up Christmas lights in her room for my brothers signature. ( My brothers a brother in our fraternity, and as pledges we basically we have to get all the brothers signatures by either doing something for them or just hanging out with them or something.) While we were there, Christine, his girlfriend, made us the BESTTT buffalo wings everrrr. Seriously, words fall short trying to describe how good they were. But after a while my pledge brothers left, and I spent the night there, thinking we’ll wake up at about noon and leave and get home at about 4 or 5. But boy was I wrong. Surprisingly my brother did actually managed to get up at noon, but then we went to get breakfast at this restaurant on Main Street. I forgot the name but it was really good. I had sushi for one of the first times and it was amazing. Plus they had really cool chopsticks; which I kind of stole, but that’s just going to be our little secret. J But finally after breakfast, we had to go back to my brother dorm because of course he hadn’t  pack yet. AND OF CORUSE he didn’t sign up for fall housing, so at this point his key didn’t work to get in, so we had to wait 20 minutes in front of East AJ for someone to walk by and let us in. Then finally he gets his stuff together and we get ready to leave. I help him drag some of his stuff into the hall, and as we’re waiting for the elevator he realizes he left his car keys in his room. And OF COURSE the door to his suite was locked, and his key to the dorm is on the same key ring as his car keys so we had to wait another 45 minutes for like the only RA on campus to get there and let us in. We didn’t end up leaving till 3, and finally got home at about 10 pm. But after that it was pretty smooth sailing as I slept, played with my dog, and tormented my little brother for the rest of my incredibly peaceful Thanksgiving break.
