riches

“The prettiest people do the ugliest things, for the road to riches or diamond rings” –Kanye West. Growing up, I always thought about how different my life would be if I were rich and famous. And when I say rich, I mean RICH. Like so much money I wouldn’t even know what to do with it all rich. So rich I would never have to work another day in my life. Even my grandchildren will be set for their lives. I’m talking about so much money I wouldn’t be able to blow it all if I tried, and trust me, I will try. Honestly, I would probably give a considerable amount to charities that I like, and make sure all of my family is living comfortably, but after that I would just go nuts. Parting in a different city every night. I would have the fanciest clothes, fastest cars, and prettiest girls by my side. Every night would be a new adventure. No more staying up till the wee hours of the morning studying for lame biology tests. Or having to write two editorial papers in one day, followed with another 500-word blog the next day. Now do not get me wrong, an education is very important, but if I already had the money college would not be for me. Honestly the only reason why I am here is so I could get a good degree, which would hopefully make me be able to get a good job. But if I were already rich, then why would I want a job? I certainly wouldn’t need it. There would be no point. It would only stress me out for nothing. But if I did have the money, one of the many things that I would love to do would to go backpacking all throughout the world. Except Russia. I don’t think anyone really wants to go to Russia. Pretty sure the people that already live in Russia don’t want to go there. But still, it would be amazing to be able to just travel through parts of the world like Europe, South America, India, Canada, Alaska, maybe even Australia. Although Australia would probably be beautiful, 97% of all the deadly animals that I am terrified of live there, so I should probably do my best to try and avoid it. But still, I feel like it would be so beneficial to experience how other people around the world live. To see first hand their ways of life. So far I can only imagine how different their lives are compared to most of us here in the United States. But one day, rich or not, I will travel the world and see all the beautiful sights the world has to offer me.

  1. Money would make life much more convenient and defenitely relieve a lot of unneeded stress. I would travel the world and see all of the beautiful and different people and places. However, even with all this money, what if one is still not happy? That money then would really be worth nothing without happiness or strong relationships.

  2. I suppose that everyone in their lives has imagined being rich before. We all want what we cannot have in this world. I personally cannot see what my life would be like if I were to be rich because it has never happened before. I guess that some people value the simpler things in life and some people prefer the riches.

  3. I also have aspirations to travel around the world and see different cultures. But I will probably never have enough money to go to the Bahamas or someplace like that. But you should follow what you want to do with your life, even if it does seem out of reach
