They do it on purpose!

Don’t think for a second it’s a coincidence. There’s no way you would “just happen” have a test in all 5 of your classes in the same week. It was definitely planned. None of them will ever admit it, but all of your professors get together every so often, and debate on the best way to make your life a living hell. And what’s the best way to do that (Besides kidnapping you, strapping you to a chair, and making you watch every season of Glee back to back?) By planning to give their tests out on the same week! Everyday of that week! Leaving you no time to do to anything other than study; barely even any time to sleep, ESPECIALLY if you’re pledging. For those of you who are not aware, pledging takes SO MUCH TIME. It’s seriously like another taking another 4 credit class. Soooooooooo exhausting. That’s why I’m currently writing this blog at 3:00 am. I rarely have time to do anything anymore besides homework, sleep and pledge activities. Every Thursday about 3 or so pledges and some of the brothers go to SOB (Special Olympic Bowling) where we bowl with people with disabilities and handicaps. It was a lot of fun. Especially when any of them would bowl a strike, and they would get so excited and happy. You can really tell we’re helping make their day. Most of my other pledge brothers went a few times before, but today was my first time. I had a lot of fun. Hopefully I’ll get to go next Thursday as well. Although most Thursdays I have quizzes I have to take at the Math Emporium. I really do despise the Empo. I remember the first time I ever stepped in there… It was 8 am, day 2 of my orientation. I had to go in to pick out my classes for the upcoming fall. I thought the place was so cool. I walk in to this HUGEEE room full of Apple computers and whatnot. Then I sit down on the chair and its SOOOOO comfortable! (It might of just been because it was 8 am so I was still barely awake.) I actually thought I wouldn’t mind going there to take my math quizzes and tests… But I suppose that’s just how they get ‘cha. Honestly, It’s not the empo itself that I hate with the burning intensity of 2300 stars, but it’s the feeling of confusion and hatred from the math that I must do there that gets affiliated with the empo that bring me to despise it. Although the workers are really helpful, so that makes it alitte more bearable. Fun fact: The Archon (president) of my fraternity, Pi Kappa Phi, works at the empo.

  1. I agree in that I hate the empo. There is just so much trouble just to take a math quiz where everyone else I know can take it online in their dorm
